EATIS.org - Euro American Association on Telematics and Information Systems is a Not-For-Profit (NFP) organization created by PhD professors and researchers in Computer Science. Its social-scientific network is composed by 81 members, affiliated to 65 universities or research institutions, spread to 31 countries, around all continents. This is the basis of the EATIS conferences Program Committees.

 

EATIS.org promote annual conferences named EATIS - Euro American Conference on Telematics and Information Systems. The permanent institutional goal is to actively promote academic collaboration between European and American continents universities. In this way, EATIS.org provide state-of-the-art discussions that can motivate key research directions to young researchers and new research groups around the world.

 

EATIS.org also aims to motivate the participation of undergraduate students in the scientific conferences to develop professional skills in Information System (IS) and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) issues, as well as the ethics component in the usage of services and technologies related to IS and ICT.

 

EATIS.org last event highlighted e-Learning and e-Business Services, handheld miniaturized devices, Embedded Systems and Wireless Network Technologies. It was also discussed the relationship between Software Engineering, Human Computer Interface, Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Systems. It was mainly discussed topics about accessibility and internationalization of Web-based Information Systems, and the importance of XML, Semantic Web, systems interoperability, Grid Computing, Mobile Multimedia and Pervasive Computing.

At the scientific level, EATIS 2007 conference aims at the dissemination of knowledge and experience related to topics outlined in the main conference agenda.
